How The Single Mama Solution Can Help You

For a while I would cry almost every day (and sometimes I still do) because I thought when I became a single mom that my life was over.

I would never do all the things I had dreamed of (write a book, travel, make money online, etc.).

I would never be able to raise a child the way I had wanted.

I would always feel lonely and broken.

But that’s total bullshit.

Life may look a little different than what I had thought, but it’s amazing.

I’ve reached many of my goals including writing a book, having a successful business, and affording my own place.

I have an incredibly loving, independent, beautiful son.

I feel content and at peace majority of the time.

And I don’t have to deal with being disrespected & lied to by my ex everyday. That sure is a plus!

Maybe you’re not there yet and you’re still struggling.

That’s okay.

Or you thought you were there, but things fell apart again.

That’s okay, too.

I want to help single moms, like you & like myself, actually enjoy their lives and reach their fullest potential.

And here’s how I’m going to do that:

1. I want to help you feel inspired & excited about your future.

Under each heading, expand a little on the topic. This will help you think more deeply about your audience as you build your blog.

[Below is 100 words of Lorem Ipsum below so you can get an idea of a good minimum length to put]:

Vitae aliquet nec ullamcorper sit amet risus nullam eget felis eget nunc lobortis mattis aliquam faucibus purus in massa tempor nec feugiat nisl pretium fusce id velit ut tortor pretium viverra suspendisse potenti nullam ac tortor vitae purus faucibus ornare suspendisse sed nisi lacus sed viverra tellus in hac habitasse.

Platea dictumst vestibulum rhoncus est pellentesque elit ullamcorper dignissim cras tincidunt lobortis feugiat vivamus at augue eget arcu dictum varius duis at consectetur lorem donec massa sapien faucibus et molestie ac feugiat sed lectus vestibulum mattis ullamcorper velit sed ullamcorper morbi tincidunt ornare massa eget egestas purus viverra accumsan in.

2. I want to provide you with a ton of helpful resources.

No more spending hours scouring the internet for help, only to find that the links are broken, or the support group you wanted to join hasn’t met since 2012.

Each and every blog post will come with a list of up-to-date resources related to whatever topic we’re discussing.

I’ll also be putting together an entire resource library with every single resource from the blog divided into categories, so that it’s easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.

3. I want to empower you to take control of your finances.

Something that I think most of us single mamas struggle with is money.

There never seems to be enough or enough time to make it.

It’s the one of the most commonly googled questions: How do single mom’s survive?

With the cost of daycare and low wages, sometimes it really does feel impossible to make it work.

I will show you how to budget properly, increase your income, and even save a little for the future so that you can purchase a home, a new car, or send your sweet baby to college.

4. I want to teach you how to manage the complicated relationships in your life.

There’s a lot to unpack on this topic.

From our kids to family members to exes to dating, we have to figure out how to deal with a lot of complex dynamics.

I want to make it easy for you with tips, tricks, and quizzes that will simplify it all.

Stay tuned for the ‘Are you actually ready to start dating again?’ quiz.

That’s gonna be a good one.

5. I want to help you learn to accept & enjoy the present while also healing from your past.

Coming to accept your single mama status can be difficult to say the least.

But it will truly make enjoying your life as a single mom so much easier.

When we’re constantly fighting what is, we’re causing ourselves unnecessary pain.

And at the same time, I’m sure you’re coping with what has happened in the past.

Being a mother through heartbreak and life-altering circumstances takes strength.

Strength I know you have, so let’s work on healing that pain with all of the tools we can find. (Bonus points if they’re free or very cheap!)

It’s so important to me to keep this blog as helpful and realistic as possible. I know that things can get incredibly difficult. I know that money is a constant stresser. I know that you’re always wondering how you’re going to keep going.

Being a single mom is hard as f**k.

Most likely, this isn’t what we had ever imagined or wanted for our lives.

But it’s where we are and we are lucky to have some amazing kids!

So why not make the best of it?
